These terms govern your use of sonaskitchen.com.au (the "Site") and any meals or services purchased from Diya Foods Pty Ltd (trading as Sona's Kitchen, ABN 99 646 355 106) ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract under Australian law.

2. Orders & pricing

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for stock unavailability, pricing errors, or delivery zones we cannot service.
If we cancel an order after payment, you'll receive a full refund to your original payment method.

3. Subscriptions

Subscription orders renew automatically on the schedule you select (weekly, fortnightly, monthly).
You can pause, skip, or cancel any time from your customer account before the cut-off (Sunday 11:59pm AEST) for that cycle.
Orders processed before you cancel will still be dispatched and charged.

4. Delivery

Delivery terms, lead times, and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.

5. Returns & refunds

Because our meals are perishable food, we don't accept physical returns. Our happiness guarantee is set out in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Food allergens & dietary information

Allergen and nutritional information is shown on each product page and on the meal label. While we follow strict HACCP procedures, our kitchen handles dairy, gluten, nuts, soy, sesame, eggs, fish and crustaceans. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering.

7. Halal certification

All meat used in our meals is sourced from Halal-certified Australian suppliers. Our kitchen operates under Halal-compliant procedures.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — recipes, photography, copy, branding, logos — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by Australian and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce or commercially use any content without our written permission.

9. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to:

Breach any law or regulation.
Interfere with the Site's operation or security.
Attempt to access data, accounts or systems you're not authorised to use.
Submit false, misleading or fraudulent orders.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms or any order is limited to the price paid for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
