Refund & returns policy

Because our meals are perishable, chef-prepared food, we are unable to accept physical returns. We do, however, stand behind every box we ship. If something isn't right, we'll make it right — replacement, store credit, or refund.

Our happiness guarantee

If any of the following applies to your order, you're entitled to a remedy:

  • Meals arrived damaged, leaking, or spoiled.
  • Box temperature was clearly above safe range on arrival (warm packs, warm meals).
  • You received the wrong item or your order was missing meals.
  • A meal did not match its description on the website (e.g. wrong ingredients).

How to request a refund

Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number (starts with "SON").
  • A short description of the issue.
  • One or two photos of the affected meals or packaging.

Resolution options

  • Replacement meals shipped with your next order at no charge.
  • Store credit applied to your account for use on any future order.
  • Refund to your original payment method (processed within 5–10 business days).

What isn't covered

  • Personal taste preferences once a meal is opened or partially consumed (we recommend trying a small bundle first).
  • Delivery delays caused by incorrect addresses or no-one-available scenarios where the courier left the box as instructed.
  • Issues reported more than 24 hours after delivery (food-safety reasons).

Subscription cancellations

You can pause, skip or cancel your subscription at any time from your customer account before the cut-off (Sunday 11:59pm AEST) for that week's delivery. Orders that have already been processed cannot be cancelled but can be paused for the following cycle.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
