Common questions

What are typical lead times?
First sample run is usually 2–4 weeks after brief and ingredient sign-off. Ongoing production is scheduled weekly, with 1–2 weeks lead time on chilled runs and longer for frozen.
Who owns the recipe and IP?
You do. If you bring a recipe, it stays yours. If we develop one for you under a paid development brief, IP is transferred on agreed commercial terms.
Is the kitchen Halal-certified?
Yes. Sona's Kitchen is HACCP-certified and operates a Halal-certified meat program. We also handle vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free lines with strict allergen controls.
Do you deliver Australia-wide?
Yes. We ship chilled and frozen finished product to distribution centres, 3PLs and end customers across Australia in cold-chain packaging.
