Quick answers for care managers and families
- Are meals claimable under a Home Care Package?
- Yes — prepared meal delivery is an eligible inclusion under service category SERV-0007 (Meals) when it is in the participant's approved support plan.
- What does the participant actually pay?
- About 30% of the meal price — from $3.87 on a $12.90 meal. The remaining 70% is invoiced to the registered provider, delivery included on eligible orders.
- How is the provider invoiced?
- We issue an itemised invoice per order showing the participant co-contribution, the provider-funded portion, service dates and the participant's reference — sent to your accounts inbox on your billing cycle.
- Is a referral or assessment needed?
- No formal referral. The participant must be assessed through My Aged Care and hold a Support at Home plan; care managers can refer participants directly.
- How fast can a new participant start?
- Usually within 2 business days. If the provider isn't already onboarded with us, our funded-care team sets up billing in that window.
- Which dietary and cultural needs are covered?
- Halal-certified, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, low-sodium, diabetic-friendly and softer-texture options across 100+ dishes, with a full nutrition panel on every tray.
