Ballarat Meals on Wheels is a wonderful volunteer-run service, but they don't offer Halal-certified meals, can't always cater to specific cultural cuisines, and depend on volunteer availability. Sona's Kitchen delivers 100+ Halal-certified Indian meals on a fixed weekly schedule, with no volunteer roster — and we can invoice your Support at Home or Home Care Package provider directly.

Can I use my Support at Home or HCP funding for meals in Ballarat?

Yes. Ballarat residents on Support at Home pay just 30% — we invoice the registered provider for the remaining 70%, including delivery. Home Care Package participants can have meals fully funded under "personal care / food" budgets. We onboard new providers within 2 business days.
